We currently have an opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as ETC’s newest Regional Manager within our Transition to Work contract. Travel will be required across our TtW regions, including Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay and Ipswich. 

 

The Role - A Day in the Life of a Regional Manager

As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for overseeing ETC’s Transition to Work (TtW) operations, financial budgets and performance. You will also be required to manage staff and resources to achieve the successful delivery of the TtW Deed and operational budgets to achieve ETC’s agreed targets as set by the Department of Employment & Workplace Relations (DEWR). 

 

Your Key Responsibilities will include;

  • Develop a performance-oriented culture based on high quality service and aligned to ETC’s values
  • Ensure the Transition to Work Program is delivered in accordance with all funding body requirements.
  • Lead, manage and support all Operation Managers in the TtW Program
  • Develop innovative approaches to achieve high levels of business and financial performance.
  • Ensure strategic relationships and networks are built and maintained with various stakeholders, such as peak bodies, interagency groups, employers, community and youth organisations and relevant government agencies.
  • Develop effective and innovative teams
  • Participate in the development of the strategic plan and implement ETC’s vision and direction across the region.

Criteria for Success

  • Demonstrated management experience in employment services preferably in the Workforce Australia or Transition to Work contracts
  • Demonstrated experience in a management role, in particular human resource management skills and team leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate and performance manage a positive, focused and productive team
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Demonstrated ability to promote ETC in a professional manner at all times to all sectors of the community with a view to business development and retention of existing business
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and deliver specified end results
  • Tertiary qualifications in Frontline Management, relevant discipline or relevant employment services experience.
  • An understanding of and commitment to WHS and EEO principles
  • A current, clear National Police Check
  • A current Working With Children Check / QLD Blue Card
