We currently have an opportunity for an engaging and switched on Recruitment Account Manager to join our team in Ipswich. The Role - A Day in the Life of a Recruitment Account Manager As a Recruitment Account Manager, you will be working closely with Employers, Employer groups and industry to market ETC’s services across employment, training and community. Management of external relationships with employers, accreditation bodies, government and other training bodies. Your Key Responsibilities will include; - Actively promoting ETC’s services to local industry, employers and jobseekers, seeking opportunities to increase business opportunities through employment and training services
- Actively promoting the use of ETC’s Job Lab services to employers (Employer App)
- Developing and maintaining relationships with employers and industry to understand and respond to employer needs within the local labour market
- Lodging vacancies on Job Lab – Jobs Board and maintaining ongoing customer relationship with employers
- Provide feedback to Jobs Advisor’s to assist with further job seeker development
- Market ETC’s clients to vacancies and/or sourcing suitable vacancies or Work Experience placements
- Promote and negotiate employer assistance such as wage subsidies or workplace support
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the WAS contract
- Reverse marketing job seekers to employers
- Supporting and mentoring Recruitment Advisors across the region
- Strong performance management of staff and implementing improvement plans for
underperforming staff - Manage adequate operational staffing levels at all times whilst balancing effective leave liability
- Keeping abreast of local labour market trends and respond accordingly to meet the current labour market needs through regular Job Tasters and Work IT and Serve IT courses
- Actively participate in weekly Learning and Development Sessions as scheduled by the Quality Team or Operations Manager
- Complete and implement Employer and Jobseeker support plan as required for each anchored placement
- Develop and maintain effective strategic alliances with key stakeholders
- Keep abreast of Local Labour market trends, develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of the employment region
- Account manage key employers and stakeholders to capitalise on relationships and employment opportunities
- Develop and implement community and stakeholder engagement strategy to raise the profile of ETC and the Employment Services industry
- Provide monthly reports to the Regional Manager Employment
Criteria for Success - Experience in the marketing and placement of long-term unemployed clients into vacancies
- Knowledge of local labour market linkages and business & community networks
- Previous account management experience
- Proven ability to effectively support and lead a small team across the Employment Region
- Be results driven and able to effectively market ETC’s services to the community
- Demonstrated understanding of EEO and the needs of the culturally diverse population
- Background in a sales based role or role in similar nature
- Highly developed and competent administration and IT skills including Microsoft Office, internet and email
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and preparing reports
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and concurrently meet competing tasks
- Knowledge and understanding of the Legislation governing this industry
- Current clear Working With Children Check or Blue Card (QLD) and National Police Check
- Current drivers licence
