We currently have an opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Jobs Advisor to cover a period of Parental Leave. The Role - A Day in the Life of a Jobs Advisor As a Jobs Advisor, you will work with a diverse range of clients, providing them with personalised support and coaching throughout their journey. You will also work collaboratively with other ETC staff, employers, and community partners to create opportunities and outcomes for your clients. With an empathetic nature, you easily build relationships with a diverse range of people while simultaneously assessing the individual’s needs and identifying appropriate supports to minimise barriers to obtaining sustainable and ongoing employment. While no Employment Services experience is needed and full training will be provided, we have found people from Retail, Call Centre, Customer Service and Administration backgrounds have transferrable skills to make a successful career change into Employment Services. No direct experience is required for these roles, however there are some things that are required: - A recent, clear National Police Check
- A current Working with Children Check / QLD Blue Card
- Experience in case management, career coaching or employment services, preferably Workforce Australia or DES will be very highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy
- Strong administration skills
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel between different ETC sites
- Customer service skills and/or experience
- A passion for helping others
- Proven experience working with vulnerable individuals and/or community services will be highly regarded.
