Due to an internal promotion an opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Jobs Advisor in our Kempsey office on a full time basis has become available.

 

The Role - A Day in the Life of a Jobs Advisor

As a Jobs Advisor you are responsible for providing our customers with a high level of personalised support and service through individual and group sessions. You are organised with a drive to achieve agreed objectives and targets, and can confidently manage your own caseload of job seekers to facilitate positive employment outcomes. You have the drive to succeed and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of people while simultaneously assessing an individual’s requirements to be able to gain sustainable and ongoing employment.

 

Your Key Responsibilities will include;

  • Providing high level personalised support and service to our customers
  • Manage your own caseload of job seekers
  • Prepare and refer customers to activities to increase employability skills
  • Achieve agreed objectives and targets

Criteria for Success

  • Customer service skills and/or experience
  • A passion for helping others
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • A current, clear National Police Check

Desirable

  • First Nations people are encouraged to apply as caseload may include First Nations customers.  Ability to connect and yarn with First Nations customers would be highly regarded.
