The Role - A Day in the Life of a Quality Assurance Coordinator The role will assist in the enhancement of policy, procedures and best practice guides and tools to meet our contractual obligations across multiple employment services and support services contracts and our Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The role will actively lead the identification of systematic issues, root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes to ensure adherence to contractual guidelines and operational budgets to achieve ETC’s agreed targets as set by the Department and other funding bodies and in line with our organisational mission and values. Some Of Your Key Responsibilities will include; Support the preparations for external auditing and quality assurance activities across all Programs; as per contractual requirements across all standards and certifications; National Standards of Disability Services (NSDS), Quality Assurance Framework (QAF), ISO27001, Right fit for Risk (RffR), and ASQA. Examine data to identify anomalies and evaluate internal controls, practices and processes to ensure contract guidelines are met and high standards maintains. Coordinate with Program Managers and Operational leaders to obtain required supporting evidence for report findings and responses, to develop clear and concise submissions for external quality assurance activities and audits. Work with Quality Manager, Chief Operating Officer, General Managers and Program Managers to improve internal systems to meet contractual and funding body requirements. Review and update existing and new policy and procedures inline with contractual, legislative requirements and organisational direction.
Criteria for Success Solid operational experience in the Employment Services Industry Demonstrated knowledge/experience of quality assurance systems, audits and implementing corrective action initiatives Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey findings, issues and recommended actions for improvement. Strong knowledge of Employment Service Programs and/or RTO quality standards and compliance requirements. Ability to think critically with attention to detail to identify potential problems and evaluation data related to quality metrics and compliance requirements. Ability to be flexible and regularly adjust priorities as required Excellent verbal communication and leadership/mentoring skills Highly developed computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Office Software Current Driver’s Licence - A recent, clear National Police Check
