We currently have a full time opportunity for a passionate and experienced Marketing Coordinator - Sponsorships & Events to join our team. This role will be based in Southport, Gold Coast, but will support the entire ETC footprint.
The Role - A Day in the Life of a Marketing Coordinator - Sponsorships & Events:
As a Marketing Coordinator - Sponsorships & Events you will be responsible for managing sponsorships and coordinating events. The role is responsible for planning, organising, and executing events, to ensure consistency across the company.
About You: You have superior organisational and time management skills, a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment and are passionate about events and sponsorships.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
Plan, organise, and support ETC-hosted events.
Liaise with vendors, manage logistics, communicate with staff, and ensure all events run smoothly while aligning with ETC standards.
Assist ETC staff across all programs and locations with event coordination, providing guidance and resources.
Develop and execute strategies to capture leads during events, such as using digital sign-up forms, QR codes, and interactive kiosks.
Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities that align with ETC’s Corporate Sponsorship Program.
Organise promotional items, expo kits and marketing material for events and ensure ETC’s Main Stock Sites are adequately stocked in preparation.
Research potential events and sponsorships that align with ETC’s target audience and service offerings.
Provide reports to the Marketing Manager.
Ensure exceptional internal and external customer service is provided at all times.
Any other duties as directed by the Marketing Manager
Criteria for Success:
At least 5 years’ experience working in a marketing or events role.
Demonstrated experience in event planning and management
Demonstrated experience in coordinating sponsorships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Current driver’s licence and ability to regularly travel across the ETC operating area, including multiple overnight stays
A current QLD Blue Card (or willing to obtain one)
A recent, clear National Police Check
